Customer service was top notch, very friendly staff. Special thanks to Ember who helped to change our room nearer to the lift as our elderly folks are not able to walk far. Breakfast was superb, lots of variety. Bed was comfy, we had lovely snooze. They even have a kids club where your kids can spend some time playing in there - a rare feature even among 5 stars hotel nowadays. Swimming pool is shaded by the hotel building in the morning so we could swim till noon and don't even feel any heat from the sun, but the opposite happens during the evening where the sun is fully blazing down on the pool. We went during the weekdays so there were less people but during weekends, you could barely swim around. Now on the not-so-good things - the car park is all stairs, no ramp, totally not friendly to the elderly and had to carry my luggage through the stairs. And you still need to pay RM 3 per day for it!! The hotel is across the road from the beach so you have to walk across a bridge and a deep long stairs down to get to the beach and it is quite dangerous, esp for kids and elderly people. All in all, we enjoyed our time there but there are many better hotels around Batu Ferringi.

Love this hotel for its friendly and helpful staff, and cleanliness! Only downside is that the hotel is quite far from the main area - but works for me as we have a baby and would only plan max 1 or 2 activities a day anyway :)

My mom was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff from the porter to the front desk to waiters at Makan Cafe.
Our dinner was delicious. I personally commend a friendly and helpful staff stationed at Makan Cafe , En Syarifuddin, who patiently recommended to my mom and I the types of food in the menu. He went the extra mile to ensure food was served on time.
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The place was beautiful and the weather was mild.
We hope to visit again soon

I’m arrived arround 4pm, when time to checkin the room not ready yet..frontdesk offered going to their bar to relax with complimentary drink. What the best part, they have online staff to approach you while stay incase need any assistance..they are very helpfull & responsive. One of the best service hotel. Thanks DoubleTree Penang

Went there for CNY holiday. Got to ask something so call the hotel ahead. The staff that pick up my call cant even understand Malay despite hotel in Malaysia. The breakfast food ok. Kids pool with the water slide, the water is cloudy. Other pools are ok. You need to pay parking rm3 for multiple entry. Hotel already expensive must pay parking more.
